Engineer In A Devi Constructions Company

We are based out of Acharapakam, right on Easwaran Koil Street at number 30. It’s a small town in the Kancheepuram district. Being near the temple means there is always some activity and noise outside on the street. Devi Constructions is where we spend most of our hours. It’s a local operation through and through. We don’t have a big corporate office in a city. Instead, we work where the projects are. Most of the time, the office is just a place to store tools and look at blueprints on a big table. It smells like cement and old paper in there. We deal with whatever construction needs pop up around the area. Sometimes it's a small repair for a neighbor, other times something a bit bigger. The weather in Tamil Nadu is usually quite hot, so we try to start early in the morning to get things done before the noon sun. People stop by the street all day long. It's a very grounded way to work. We know the people around here and they know us by name. We don't use any fancy software for everything, just the basics that get the job done. The building itself is old but it serves us well. It’s just how we do things here. No fluff, just getting the walls built or the pipes fixed properly. It's a busy life but we are used to it by now.
