Elite Elevators

Based in Chennai, our small crew handles things for Elite Elevators. It’s a hot city, as anyone who lives here in Tamil Nadu knows, and we spend a lot of our time moving between different buildings. Our main spot is just a regular office where we keep our tools and coordinate where everyone needs to go. We don't have a big fancy storefront because most of our work happens at the sites where the elevators are being put in or fixed. The traffic in Chennai can be a real pain, so getting the service vans from one side of town to the other takes a lot of planning every morning. I spend my day on the phone or checking the schedules on the wall. Sometimes the parts we need take a while to arrive, and we have to explain that to the customers. We have a small team of guys who are out in the field most of the day. They come back tired and sweaty, and we usually have some water and a fan going for them in the back room. It’s a technical job, so there’s always something new to figure out about a motor or a control panel. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to get the lifts working so people don't have to take the stairs all the time. It’s steady work and keeps us busy throughout the week. We just take it one job at a time.
