Electronica

You can find us at Venkatesh Ku, over on Babu Street in Chitlapakkam. We are in house number 25/8-C in the Kows Alya Nagar part of Chennai. Chennai is known for being hot and busy, and our street is no exception to that. We have been here at Electronica for a while now. The space isn't huge, but it fits our needs for the kind of electronic work we do. Most of the time, the floor is covered with bits of wire and old parts that we haven't gotten around to throwing away yet. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want a place where we can sit down and work on the electronics that people bring to us. It’s a local kind of business. We know the people on the street and they know us. Sometimes someone will bring in a broken radio or a gadget they need fixed, and we see what we can do. It is more about the practical side of things than anything else. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people find out about us. We just show up every morning, open the doors, and start working on whatever is on the bench. It’s a decent way to make a living and stay involved with the community here in Chennai. It can get pretty cramped in here when we have a lot of deliveries, but we make it work.
