We go by the name Electricals Controls Corporation, and while our name mentions Coimbatore, we are actually located down in Nagercoil. Our office is at No.66 on Telugu Chetti Street in the Krishnancoil area. This is part of the Kanyakumari district in the southern part of Tamil Nadu. Being this far south means we have our own way of doing things. We mostly work with control panels and different types of electrical setups for buildings and small industries. Telugu Chetti Street is a familiar place to us and we have been at this location for a good amount of time. Working with electrical controls requires a lot of patience because one small mistake can mess up the whole system. I spend a lot of my time looking at schematics and then checking the actual wiring to make sure they match. It is not very exciting to look at for most people, but it is important work for keeping things running. Kanyakumari is a beautiful place to live, and even though the work can be stressful when things don't go right, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We are just a local group of people who know how to handle these types of systems. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure we don't have to come back to fix the same thing twice. It is a good living and it keeps us busy enough.
