Embsys Labs

Embsys Labs is on the 2nd floor of No. 3/50 in Sundar Nagar. It’s a nice enough neighborhood with some houses and a few shops nearby. To get to us, you have to walk up two flights of stairs since there isn’t an elevator. It keeps us fit, I suppose. The lab itself is full of circuit boards, wires, and testing tools. It’s often a bit of a mess because we are always in the middle of three different things at once. We don't have a janitor who comes in every night, so we just tidy up ourselves when the benches get too crowded. Most of us are engineers or just people who like to tinker with electronics. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to sound more important than we are. If something breaks, we fix it. If we need a new part, we wait for the delivery guy to show up. The windows look out over the street, and we sometimes watch the kids playing cricket down there when we need a break. We eat our lunch together at the big table in the middle of the room. It’s a very straightforward way to work. We aren't looking for awards or fame. We just enjoy the challenge of making things work and having a place in Sundar Nagar to do it. It is quiet in the evenings.
