We are based over at No: 2 on Manonmani Ammal Street in the Kilpuk area. It’s a relatively quiet street, which we appreciate since the city can get so loud. Getting to work every day involves navigating the Kilpuk traffic, but once we are inside the office, it’s a bit more peaceful. Egb Advanced Security Systems Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this space for some time. We don’t have any of those modern open-plan layouts that you see in the news. It’s just a series of rooms where we have our equipment and desks set up. It’s a bit lived-in, but that’s how we like it. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for tea. Sometimes the neighbors pop their heads in to say hello. It feels more like a community than just a business district. The building itself is older, and you can feel that history when you walk through the door. We don't have a receptionist sitting at a big marble desk. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We aren't trying to look like a giant corporation. We are just a group of people who know this neighborhood well. Manonmani Ammal Street is a familiar place for us now. We spend our hours here, focusing on what needs to be finished. It’s a steady, honest way to spend the day in Kilpuk.
