Edumaths

You can find Edumaths over in Purasawalkam at number 168 on Vellalla Street. We are very close to the Hotel Saravana Bhavan, which is great because the smell of food is always in the air. Purasawalkam is one of those old parts of Chennai where the streets are a bit narrow and always crowded. Finding parking around here is a nightmare, so most of us just take the bus or walk. The building we are in is also quite old. We have a simple sign outside. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a few whiteboards. We have stacks of books and papers everywhere. It is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The light isn't the best in the back rooms, so we have some extra lamps. We start our day early before it gets too hot. The neighbors are mostly other small shops and some houses. It is a lively place to work. Sometimes we hear music from the nearby temples or the noise from the market. We don't have any fancy reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and we are there. We spend a lot of time talking to parents and helping the kids with their work. It is a humble place, and we like it that way. It feels like part of the neighborhood. We’ve been here long enough that the postman doesn't even need to look at the door number anymore.
