We’ve been here in Park Town for a while now. Our place is on E K Agraharam Street, just a short walk from the Elephant Gate Police Station. It’s a busy part of Chennai, always something happening outside on the road. We’re in E H House, at number 39/15. Usually, the mornings are the most hectic when people are getting to work and the students start showing up. Inside, it's mostly desks and stacks of papers. We deal with a lot of educational stuff here. Sometimes the traffic noise from the street gets loud, but you get used to it after a few days. People come in asking about various courses or looking for help with their studies. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical office where the work gets done. Most of us have been around this neighborhood for years, so we know the local shops and where to get the best tea in the afternoon. The building is older, but it serves its purpose for what we do. You can find us pretty easily if you know where the police station is. It’s just right there in the middle of everything. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through files. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do every day. We see a lot of faces coming through the door, each with their own goals. That’s just life at Education Hindustan.
