Our place is on Haddows Road, specifically at number 7, though some people still use the old 4/A address. It’s an easy enough spot to find once you’re in the area. We’ve been working with sewing machinery and industrial equipment for a long time. The office is usually full of papers and some spare parts that haven't been put away yet. We spend a lot of our time talking to garment factory owners and people who need their machines serviced. It’s a lot of technical talk about stitches and motor speeds. The staff here knows these machines inside out. We don’t have a big polished showroom; it’s more of a working office where we actually do the repairs and handle the sales. Sometimes the street outside gets really crowded with cars, so getting deliveries in can be a bit of a headache. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when things quiet down a little. We don’t really go in for big speeches or fancy slogans. We just show up, see what needs fixing or what order needs to be shipped, and get to it. It’s a practical way of doing things that has worked for us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our daily routine stays pretty much the same. It’s about the machines and making sure the customers get what they actually need for their shops or factories without any unnecessary delays.
