Durga Bearings Pvt.Ltd. is based at 39, New Avadi Road in the Kilpauk area. It’s a good location because it’s easy for people to find us on the main road. We deal with all kinds of bearings for machinery and vehicles. Our building at number 39 is mostly filled with shelves and boxes. It’s quite heavy work, moving these metal parts around all day. We don't have a fancy reception area; you just walk in and someone will be there behind the counter to help you. The office part is just a couple of desks tucked away in the back with some old computers and stacks of invoices. Kilpauk is a busy place, and New Avadi Road always has a lot of cars and buses passing by. We can hear the traffic all day long, but it’s just background noise to us now. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we know the inventory pretty well. If someone needs a specific part, we usually know exactly which shelf it’s on without having to look it up. It’s a straightforward business. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just supply the bearings that keep machines running. We take our work seriously but we don't feel the need to be formal about it. It’s just us, the boxes, and the customers who have been coming to us for years. We stay busy and that’s enough.
