Durable Springs

You can find us at 34, Vallalar Street, on the 3rd Main Road in the Ambattur Industrial Estate. Durable Springs is exactly what it sounds like. We make springs of all sorts of sizes for different uses. It’s a noisy business with all the wire being bent and shaped by the machines. Ambattur is a huge place with many roads, so it took us a while to get settled in this specific spot. We’ve got a small workshop that’s always full of grease and metal scraps on the floor. It’s not the cleanest place, but that’s because we’re actually working hard. We don't have a reception desk with someone waiting to greet you with a smile. Usually, you’ll find us in the back near the machines with our sleeves rolled up. We’ve been doing this for quite some time now. We don't use fancy marketing terms to describe what we do. A spring is a spring, and it has to work right every time. That’s what we focus on. Some days we have big orders that keep us busy until late at night. Other days we’re just tidying up and maintaining the equipment so it doesn't break. We like being in the industrial estate because everyone else is doing the same kind of thing. There’s a sense of shared work here among the neighbors. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy. We just work together to get things finished.
