Our shop is situated at No.14 on Muppan Maistry 2nd Street in Chennai. If you have ever been down this street, you know it is a tight fit with people and scooters everywhere. We are right in the heart of the 600 094 area. Every day is pretty much the same here, filled with parcels of all shapes and sizes. We spend most of our time weighing boxes, sticking on labels, and making sure the courier bags are sealed up tight. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, and the ceiling fan doesn't always do much, but we keep at it. There is no corporate polish here, just some counters and a lot of packages waiting to be picked up by the vans. We see a lot of people coming in with stuff for their families or documents for work. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure people's mail gets delivered. Sometimes the systems are slow or the rain makes deliveries tricky, but that is just part of being in Chennai. We’ve been at this location for a good while, so the locals know where to find us. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. It is just about getting a box from point A to point B without it getting lost. We keep our heads down and handle the cargo as it comes in and goes out.
