Dr. Ushas Eye Clinic

Dr. Usha’s Eye Clinic sits right on Bazar Road in Mylapore at number 54. If you know this part of Chennai, you know how crowded and loud the street can get with all the shops and people moving around. Our clinic is just a small space where we help people with their vision. Dr. Usha spends her day doing eye exams and checking prescriptions for glasses. It’s a straightforward setup. We have some chairs for waiting and the usual equipment you’d expect at an eye doctor’s place. Most of our visitors are locals from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to park, so many people just walk here or take an auto. We open up in the morning and stay busy until the evening. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s clean and functional for what we do. We don’t have a big fancy reception desk, just a place to sign in. It’s mostly about getting your eyes looked at without too much fuss. People come in when they can’t see the newspaper clearly or if their kids need a checkup for school. It’s a bit of a traditional spot in a very old part of town. We just keep things moving and try to see everyone who has an appointment on time. We also keep a few frames on hand for people to look at. It's just a regular, local eye shop.
