Dr Sivaramanlingam Veterinary Clinic

Our vet clinic is situated at No 168a on the 2nd Main Road in Velacheri, right in the Bhuvaneswari Nagar area. We are directly opposite Nathella Jewellery, which is usually the easiest way to explain where we are to people who haven't visited before. Dr. Sivaramanlingam spends most of his day dealing with a mix of barking dogs, grumpy cats, and the occasional bird or rabbit. It’s a noisy place to work, and there’s almost always a puddle to clean up or some fur floating around in the air. The clinic isn't very large, so when two big dogs are in the waiting room at the same time, it can get a bit cramped. We have a small table for examinations and a few shelves with pet food and medicine. The jewelry shop across the street is always bright and shiny, which stands in contrast to our little clinic where things are a bit more messy and practical. We don't have fancy grooming stations or a pet boutique; we just focus on the animals when they’re sick or need their shots. Most of our regulars are families from Velacheri who walk over with their pets. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even when the animals are being difficult. We’ve got a couple of fans to keep the air moving, and there’s always a bowl of water out for the four-legged visitors. It’s just a normal neighborhood vet clinic doing its thing every day. We enjoy the animals.
