Dot Export

Dot Export is based over at No. 2 Andandan Street in Mambalam. If you know the area, you know it’s always moving and people are everywhere. We have a small office here that’s usually filled with boxes and some old furniture we’ve had for years. It’s where we handle all our export work. Mambalam is a busy place, so there’s always noise from the street, but we don’t mind it much. We’ve been at this location for a while. We aren't a big corporation or anything. It's just a handful of people making sure things get shipped where they need to go. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, but we always find what we’re looking for eventually. Andandan Street is pretty easy to get to once you know the turns. We spend a lot of time checking the lists and talking to the truck drivers. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. We wear what’s comfortable because the heat in Mambalam can be something else during the afternoon. We keep the fans running all day to stay cool. Most of our neighbors are doing their own thing, running shops or just living their lives. We fit right in. It’s a basic setup at No. 2, but it’s ours. We just keep doing the work day by day and making sure the exports go out without too much trouble. It’s a simple living for us here in the city.
