Doosan Babcock Energy India

We are Doosan Babcock Energy India and we are based in Chennai, specifically on Halls Road in the Kilpauk area. Our office is on the first floor of a building that has two numbers, Old Number 12 and New Number 10. It can be a little confusing for delivery people sometimes, but we are used to explaining it. Kilpauk is a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street coming up to the windows. We’ve been here for a bit now, handling our energy-related work. The office setup is pretty standard with desks and a small area for meetings. It’s not very fancy, just a place where we get our work done. We have a lot of technical drawings and files lying around because of the nature of what we do. The team here is local, and we usually start early to beat some of the Chennai heat. Halls Road has a lot of trees, which is nice when you look outside. We don't really do big marketing stuff; we just focus on the projects we have at hand. Most of our days are spent on the computer or in discussions about site work. It’s a steady environment. We keep a fridge for cold water and a kettle for coffee, which helps get us through the afternoons. It's a functional space that works well for the group of us here at this Kilpauk address.
