We’re based in Chennai, over in Vadapalani at 67 Vivekananda Colony. It’s a busy area, but our colony is slightly tucked away from the main temple traffic. Our office is just a simple building where we handle the work for Dlf Commercial Developers Limited. We have a few rooms filled with desks, computers, and a lot of folders. The air conditioner is a bit old and makes a humming sound, but it gets the job done when the Chennai heat kicks in. We don't have any flashy signs or a grand entrance. It’s just a regular door that stays open most of the day. We’re a small team and most of us have been working here for a long time. We don’t really do formal meetings with agendas; we just talk over our desks about what needs to be finished. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. Our work involves a lot of coordination for the different commercial sites, so there is usually someone coming or going. We don't use any fancy corporate language. We just speak plainly and try to keep everything moving forward. It’s a very practical environment where we don't worry about being polished. We just want to make sure the commercial development tasks are handled correctly and on time. It’s a straightforward way to work.
