Our branch is located in Chennai, specifically on 1st Street in Sastha Nagar. It’s Door No 35 on Plot No 8. If you’ve ever been to this part of Chennai, you know it can get pretty humid, so we keep the fans going all day long. This place is mostly about handling the logistics and making sure the parcels are moving in the right direction. It’s a busy little spot with vans coming and going at all hours. We spend a lot of our time scanning barcodes and checking addresses. Sometimes the handwriting on the packages is hard to read, which slows us down a bit, but we figure it out eventually. The street can be a bit narrow, so when the big delivery trucks show up, it’s a bit of a squeeze for everyone else. We aren’t really into big speeches or fancy corporate talk here. We just focus on the boxes and the deadlines. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it’s important to the people waiting for their things. We have a small crew here who mostly just get on with the job. Every now and then, the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, but that’s just how things go in this city. It’s a straightforward operation and we like it that way. No need for anything extra when you have a lot of work to get through.
