If you’re looking for Dharani Export, we are situated at No. 1098 Kalaigar Nagar, right in the Gandhi Nagar area of Redhills. Redhills is a pretty active place, and our corner of Kalaigar Nagar is no different. The building at No. 1098 is where we spend our nine to five, though sometimes it’s more like eight to seven when things get backed up. It’s a simple brick and mortar setup. We have a lot of paperwork because of the export side of things, so there are folders everywhere. We try to keep it organized, but sometimes a stack gets a bit tilted. The air in Redhills can get heavy in the summer, so we keep the fans running all day long. It makes a constant humming sound that we’ve all grown used to. We don't have a fancy lounge or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a kettle and some mugs in the corner. Dharani Export is basically just a group of us working hard in a space that fits us. The neighbors in Gandhi Nagar are mostly residential or small shops, so it’s a mix of families and workers. It feels grounded. We don't try to pretend to be a giant corporation. We’re just a local business handling exports from a building that’s seen plenty of use over the years. We keep the gate painted and the front swept, but it’s a working office.
