Dhanam Clinic Diabetic Centre

Dhanam Clinic Diabetic Centre is located right at number 8, very close to the Pozhichalur Panchayat Office. If you’re coming down the Pozhichalur Main Road, it is pretty easy to find us once you get to that landmark. We mostly focus on diabetes because so many people in the local area seem to have trouble with it these days. The clinic isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a plain building with a small sign. Inside, we have some basic equipment for checking blood sugar and testing. The waiting room gets quite full on Monday mornings for some reason, and we have to bring in extra stools sometimes. The street outside can get really dusty and loud with the buses passing by, but we keep the windows shut most of the time. I’ve been working here for a few years and I know most of the regulars by their first names. We talk about their families or the local news while we do the tests. It makes the day go by faster. Our filing system is mostly paper-based and it can get a bit messy on busy days. We don’t bother with fancy slogans or anything like that. We just provide a place for people to get their sugar checked without having to travel too far from home. It’s a practical little spot in Pozhichalur and we just do our best to keep things moving along for everyone.
