Design Scape

Design Scape is based out of N S Garden in R A Puram. It’s a nice enough spot, relatively easy to get to, and the surroundings are fairly green for this part of town. The office is basically a few rooms where we’ve set up our computers and drafting boards. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights outside. If you didn’t know we were here, you might just walk right past. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze of shelves filled with old project folders and material samples. We’ve got bits of stone and wood lying around that we use to show people what different textures feel like. The floor is a bit scuffed from moving chairs around so much. We tend to keep to ourselves and focus on the work at hand. Sometimes the phone rings too much, and other times it’s dead silent for hours while everyone is deep in a design. We eat lunch together most days, usually talking about anything except work just to give our brains a break. It’s a small group of us, so we all know each other’s habits pretty well. R A Puram has its own vibe, and we feel like we fit in here. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm around; we just want to make sure the drawings we put out are correct and that we don’t miss any small details.
