You’ll find us at 11/2 Anthony Street, right across from the Pilot Theatre in Royapettah. Being near the theatre means there's always a bit of a crowd and some noise, but we like the energy. We deal with all sorts of interior stuff. Our shop is full of samples, curtains, and different bits of hardware. It’s not the neatest place in the world, as there’s always something being unpacked or moved around. We don't really have a big sales pitch. People usually come in because they need help picking out colors or figuring out what kind of cabinets would fit in their kitchen. We spend a lot of time visiting people’s homes to take measurements. It’s a lot of driving around Royapettah and the surrounding streets. We don't pretend to be some high-end design firm; we just help people make their places look a little better. Sometimes we get orders mixed up or a delivery is late, but we always try to fix it. That’s just how things go when you’re a small local shop. We’ve been at this Anthony Street location for a long time, and we know most of the other shopkeepers nearby. It’s a straightforward business. We show you what we have, tell you how much it costs, and then we get to work. No big fuss, just plain decor work for regular folks. We usually close up shop a bit early on Saturdays when it's quiet.
