Delmar Maritime

If you head over to Rajaji Salai in Parrys, you’ll find us on Clive Balery Salai. We are up on the fifth floor of the building at No 484/8. Being that high up gives us a decent breeze, which is a relief in the Chennai heat. Delmar Maritime has been part of this neighborhood for quite a while. Parrys is the old heart of business here, and it’s always got a lot of energy, though it can be quite chaotic with the narrow streets and all the carts moving about. Our office is a straightforward place where we handle maritime work. There is usually the sound of a printer going or people talking on their mobiles to someone at the docks. We don't use a lot of fancy talk here. It’s mostly about making sure the ships are on time and the cargo is accounted for. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow, so we’ve learned to be patient. We have a small team, and we all know each other well. Most days are spent looking at shipping manifests and coordinating with different agents. It’s the kind of work that requires staying organized, even when things get hectic. We like being in Parrys because it feels like we are right in the middle of where things actually happen. It’s a plain, hardworking office where we just focus on the job at hand every day.
