Delhi Interior Design

Even though the name is Delhi Interior Design, we are actually operating out of Madurai. It confuses some people at first, but they get used to it. We spend our days thinking about rooms and furniture. It’s not always as creative as people think. There is a lot of measuring and moving heavy things around. We work in various parts of Madurai. We don’t have a massive showroom with bright lights. Usually, we meet people at their own places or at a small workroom we use. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We’ve seen all sorts of houses and offices in this city. Some are old and have character, others are brand new. We try to make things work with whatever space is there. We aren't trying to be the most famous designers. We just like making a room look a bit better than it did before. We deal with painters, carpenters, and all sorts of workers. Sometimes the schedules don't align, and it gets a bit stressful, but we manage. We use simple materials and try to keep costs reasonable for the folks we work with. It’s a local operation. We know where to get the wood or fabric around here. It’s just us, working away in Madurai, trying to do a decent job for people who need their spaces fixed up. We're pretty regular people who just happened to get into the design business. Most days we are covered in sawdust or paint.
