D.B. Enterprises

Our place is tucked away on Sattanna Naicken Street in Choolai. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of narrow lanes and old buildings. We are at number 9. It’s not a very big space, just enough for us to keep our inventory and a small area to sit and talk to anyone who drops by. We’ve been operating as D.B. Enterprises for some time, mostly dealing with the usual trade stuff that moves through this part of the city. Usually, the morning starts with checking what arrived the day before. The street outside is always full of carts and people moving goods. It can be a bit of a squeeze getting things in and out, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people find us because they’ve been told where we are or they work nearby. The fan in the office makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps the air moving. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out lists. It’s a lot of practical, day-to-day work that doesn’t change much from one week to the next. We just try to keep things organized so we can find what we need when a customer asks. It’s a quiet life here in Choolai, even with all the noise outside. Sometimes the neighbors drop in for a chat, which is nice.
