Dawn School

You can find us at number 355 on Andal Ammal Extension Street. This part of Chinna Nolambur has changed quite a bit over the last few years, with new houses and apartments popping up all the time. Our school is just one part of this growing community. The building is a straightforward structure with classrooms, a small play area, and an office where the phone rings pretty much all day. We are just regular people working here to keep things running. Some of our staff have been at this for decades, while others are just starting their careers. We spend a lot of time dealing with the basic stuff, like making sure the water coolers are full and the lights are working in every room. It is not always a glamorous job. There are days when the rain makes the street outside a bit muddy and we have to remind every student to wipe their feet at the door. Inside, it is the usual school atmosphere you would expect. You hear teachers explaining math problems and kids whispering to each other when they think the teacher is not looking. We do not go in for big speeches or fancy slogans. We just show up every morning, open the classrooms, and get to work. The parents in this area work hard, and we try to do the same. It is just about getting through the day.
