Our office is at New No. 484, which used to be Old No. 580, on Anna Salai in Teynampet. It’s a very busy road in Chennai, so there is always a lot of noise from the cars and buses outside. We deal with air conditioning here, which is pretty much essential in this heat. The building is easy to find if you know the landmark, but the two different numbers still confuse people sometimes. Inside, it’s a straightforward workspace. We have some display units in the front and our desks in the back. It’s not very big, and we often run out of space for all the files we have. We spend most of our time coordinating with the technicians and answering customer calls. The AC in the office is always running, otherwise we wouldn't be able to get anything done. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for coffee and tea. We don't have any big meetings or anything like that. We just talk across the desks when something needs to be decided. The staff has been here for a long time, so we all know how things work. It’s a bit of a hectic environment during the summer months. We just try to keep up with the demand and make sure everything is recorded properly.
