D R R Eye Hospital

Our hospital is at number 399 on Trunk Road in Karayan Chavadi, Poonamalee. It sits right on the main road, so it’s easy to find but the traffic can be quite loud. We mainly deal with everything related to eyes here. We have the usual equipment for testing vision and checking for things like cataracts. The waiting room has some benches and a few old magazines to look at while you wait your turn. It’s a very busy place, especially on the weekends when people have time off from work to bring their parents in. We see a lot of elderly folks from around Poonamalee who need help with their sight. The doctors are usually quite fast but thorough because there is always a line of people waiting. We have a small area where you can pick out glasses frames if you need them. The lighting in the clinic is very bright so the doctors can see everything clearly. We’ve been here at this Trunk Road location for quite a few years now. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned setup, with handwritten slips and manual eye charts in some of the rooms. We don't go in for any of that fancy promotional stuff. We just focus on checking eyes and helping people see a bit better than they did when they walked in. It is just honest work that we do day after day and we keep the doors open from morning until late evening.
