D R Agarwals Eye Hospital

If you are in Porur, you’ve probably passed by our building on Arcot Road. D R Agarwals Eye Hospital is located at number 49. Arcot Road is always packed with traffic, so there is never a dull moment looking out the windows. We get a lot of people coming in because their eyes are bothering them or they just need new glasses. The lobby is usually filled with people sitting and waiting for their names to be called. It’s a busy environment with staff checking people in and doctors moving from one room to another. We have various machines for testing vision and looking at the back of the eye. Some of them are big and some are small. It’s a very specialized place, so everything is geared toward that. The building itself is several floors high, and we use most of the space for different departments. It’s not exactly a relaxing place because there is so much going on, but we try to keep things orderly. The staff knows the routine well by now. We see everyone from little kids to older folks who have been coming here for years. Porur is a growing area, and being right on the main road means we see a lot of the changes happening outside. We just keep doing our daily tasks and making sure everyone gets their eyes checked. It’s what we’ve been doing for quite a long time.
