We at Curvo Transformers have been tucked away at No.4 and 5 in Paul Raj Nagar for some time now. Dealing with transformers is what occupies most of our hours here in Kandanchavadi. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical space where we get the work done. You’ll usually find us busy with coils and metal sheets throughout the day. The area can get a bit loud with the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the tea break is the highlight of the afternoon when things get really hectic. We started out small and stayed that way mostly because we like knowing exactly what’s happening on the floor. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things over and over. People around here know us as the local transformer folks near the main road. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it serves us well for storing materials and testing units. We don’t spend much time on paperwork if we can help it. Most of the guys have been here for years, so we all know the routine by heart. If you walk past Paul Raj Nagar, you’ll probably hear the hum of the equipment. It’s a steady kind of life, keeping the power stuff moving. We don't have a big front desk or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is nearest the door. It’s simple, really.
