C-Tech Rc Design (I) Pvt. Ltd. is located at No. 81 on Valluvarkottam High Road in Nungambakkam. We’re on the 3A floor. It’s a well-known part of Chennai, and we’ve been here long enough that we don't really need a map to find the best shortcuts anymore. Our work involves a lot of technical design and structural thinking. It’s the kind of stuff that has to be right, or things don't stay standing. We have a lot of big tables for laying out drawings and several computers that are always running some kind of calculation. The atmosphere in the office is usually pretty focused. We aren't much for fancy office parties or big presentations. Most of our time is spent looking at blueprints and checking numbers. Nungambakkam is a busy area, so getting lunch can be a bit of a trek through traffic, but we like being in the middle of things. We’ve worked on plenty of projects over the years, some small and some quite large, but we treat them all with the same level of attention. If something looks off in a design, we stay until we figure out why. It’s just how we were taught to work. We don't use big words to sound important; we just tell you what the structural needs are and how we’re going to meet them. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from morning till evening. We’re just engineers and designers doing our bit to build things properly.
