Our place is located at 2/628, Rapid Nagar, right along the Kunrathur High Road in Gerugambakkam. Being based here means we are a bit away from the main city's noise, which is actually helpful for the kind of focus we need at Cryo Scientific Systems. The building is simple and we use every bit of the space for our scientific setups and general operations. Even though we are a Private Limited company, it doesn’t feel very corporate inside. It is more like a group of people who have worked together for a long time and know the routine by heart. The road outside gets a lot of heavy trucks moving towards Kunrathur, so there is usually some dust and noise, but it’s just part of the landscape for us. We spend most of our hours checking on systems and making sure everything is handled the right way before it goes out. There isn’t a fancy reception area or anyone in a suit waiting to greet you. Usually, you’ll just see someone in work clothes busy with a machine or a set of notes. We try to keep things as straightforward as possible. Rapid Nagar is a decent spot, and we’ve settled in well over the years. We usually grab lunch from one of the small shops nearby and then get right back to the work at hand. It is not a glamorous setup, but it’s practical and it works for us.
