Crown Maritime

Our office is tucked away on 5th Cross Street in Shenoy Nagar West. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly residential but we’ve been at New No. 11 for a long time. Dealing with maritime stuff means a lot of phone calls and even more paperwork sitting on our desks. It gets pretty hectic when ships are coming in or leaving, and the phones don't seem to stop ringing then. We aren't a massive operation with hundreds of people. It’s just a few of us here making sure things move from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes the internet goes slow or a delivery gets delayed, and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. That's just part of the business, I guess. Shenoy Nagar is a nice place to work, even if parking can be a bit of a headache on our street sometimes. We keep things pretty straightforward. We don't have any glossy brochures or big signs. Just the work that needs doing every morning when we open up. Most of our day is spent looking at schedules and talking to people at the port. It’s a lot of coordination, really. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we first moved in here. We just show up, do the job, and head home like everyone else around here. It is what it is.
