If you walk down MGR Street in Vadapalani, you will find Creators Cage Designs & Constructions near Prasad Studio. This neighborhood is always alive, mostly because of the film studios and the people moving around. We handle both the design and the actual building part of things here. Our office is a bit of a mix between a studio and a construction shed. You might see some samples of bricks or tiles sitting next to a computer. We do not really dress up much because we are usually headed to a dusty site anyway. It is a lot of back and forth between here and the different projects we have going on. The traffic around Vadapalani is no joke, so we try to plan our site visits early in the day. Sometimes we just sit here and sketch out ideas on whatever paper is handy. It is not about being the biggest firm in Chennai. We just focus on the projects we have in front of us. Most people who come to see us are looking for something straightforward. We talk about the budget, the materials, and how long the rain might delay the roof. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. The tea shop at the corner is where we usually take our breaks when things get a bit too hectic inside. We just keep our heads down and build.
