Craft Corner

Craft Corner is on the first floor at 10/1, 6th Cross in Victoria Layout. We are right near the Vijay Bank, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything heavy. Our space is filled with all sorts of things—beads, fabrics, bits of wood, and jars of paint. It’s not a tidy place. If you’re looking for a pristine shop, this isn’t it. We usually have several projects going on at the same time, so there’s often glue drying on a table or scrap paper on the floor. It’s a small team of us who just enjoy making things. We don't have a big corporate structure or even a dress code. Most days we just wear whatever we don’t mind getting a bit of ink on. People from the neighborhood drop in to see what’s new or to pick up supplies they ran out of. We spend a lot of time just chatting with whoever comes in. It gets a bit crowded when more than three people are in the main room, but we manage. The light comes in nicely through the front window in the morning. We don’t do much in terms of fancy displays; we just put things where they fit. It’s a quiet, busy little spot in a nice part of town where we just do our own thing every day.
