Cosmic Exports

Working out of the Sidco Industrial Estate in Ambattur means there is always noise around us. Our place is at 224/1, and it’s pretty much what you’d expect from an industrial area. There’s constant moving of trucks and the sound of machines from the neighbors. We’ve been at Cosmic Exports for a long time now. The building is a bit old, but it serves its purpose for what we do. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of stuff ready to go and a small area for the office work. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going. We don’t have any fancy signage or a big lobby. People who come here usually know what they’re looking for. We spend our hours coordinating with transporters and checking the quality of what’s coming in. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of numbers. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, which is just part of life in Ambattur. We just wait it out and get back to it. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We just focus on getting the day’s tasks finished before the sun goes down. That’s about all there is to it. No big secrets, just a lot of steady work in a dusty estate that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
