Our office, Continental Carriers Pvt Ltd, is located at 314, Linghi Chetty Street in Chennai. That’s right in the 600 001 area, so it’s pretty central. Linghi Chetty Street is always busy, there is always noise and people moving about. We’ve been part of this street for a long time. The building is old but it works for us. We don't have fancy lights or a big reception desk. It’s just a place where we come to work every morning. We deal with carrying goods and managing transport. It can be a bit of a headache with the city traffic, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest. We just want to do a decent job for the people who use us. Most of us here have lived in Chennai our whole lives. We know how the streets work and how to get around. The office feels lived-in. There are files everywhere and the tea guy comes by twice a day. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't use any corporate talk. We just tell it like it is. If things are delayed, we say so. If things are on time, that's good too. It’s just a regular business on a regular street, trying to keep things going. We don't make a big fuss about things, we just focus on the shipments and the paperwork that comes with them.
