Our place is over in the Electrical and Electronics Industrial Estate in Perungudi. We have a few units there—119, 120, and 120A. It’s an older industrial area, which suits us just fine. Consul Neowatt has been around for quite a stretch, and this is where the real work happens. We make and fix power stuff like UPS systems and stabilizers. It’s noisy sometimes with all the testing and moving things around. The heat in Chennai can be a bit much in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. We don't have a shiny glass office; it’s more of a workspace where things actually get built. Our staff has been here for years, and they know these machines inside and out. We don't bother with fancy talk or corporate slogans. We just look at what’s broken or what needs building and we do it. Sometimes we run out of parts and have to wait for a shipment, which is frustrating, but we deal with it. It’s a lot of manual labor and technical checking. We’re just a group of folks who understand how to keep power steady for factories and offices. It’s decent work and we’re proud of being part of the local industrial scene. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines in front of us.
