Confidential is based in Chennai, specifically in Velacherry. We are at F 1 Annapoorna on 4th Main Road in Rajalakshmi Nagar. It’s a busy part of the city, especially with all the traffic on the main road. We’ve been here since the building was relatively new. It’s a small space, but we keep it tidy. There’s a lot of us who work here, mostly local folks from the neighborhood. We don’t really go for the corporate vibe. We’re more like a group of friends who happen to run a business together. We have our desks pushed close to each other so we can talk easily. Sometimes we bring in food from home and share it during lunch. We don’t have a big fancy website or a bunch of social media accounts. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done. If someone calls, we answer. If they walk in, we talk to them. It’s very direct. Chennai can get really humid, so the AC is usually running all day long. We know the shopkeepers on 4th Main Road and they know us. It feels good to be part of the local economy here. We aren’t trying to change the world. We’re just trying to provide for our families and do a good job while we’re at it. No big fuss, just regular work every day.
