Down on East Coast Road in Injambakkam, we’ve got our setup at the ALM Complex. It’s right across from the Prarthana Drive In Theatre, which is how most people find us. Concorde Motors Agencies has been operating out of this spot for quite some time. The yard is usually full of vehicles waiting for service or parts. It’s a dusty job, being near the main road and working with engines all day, but we don't mind the grease too much. The office inside the complex is where we keep the records, though the paperwork usually has a few oily thumbprints on it. Our staff has been together for a long time, so we know who is good at what. We don't bother with those shiny showrooms you see in the city center. This is more of a practical workshop where the real work happens. Sometimes the parts take longer to arrive than we’d like, and we have to tell the customers to wait another day, which isn't always fun for anyone. But we try to be straight with people about what’s wrong with their cars. The sea breeze from the coast is nice in the evenings, even if it makes everything rust a bit faster. We just show up, do the repairs, and head home to our families. It’s a solid routine and we’ve made a lot of friends in the Injambakkam area over the years.
