Concept Designers

We are based at No 29/16 in Vadivelpuram, which is right near the Mambalam Railway Station in West Mambalam. Being that close to the station means there’s always noise and people rushing around. You can hear the trains if you listen close enough. Concept Designers is tucked away a bit, so it's not immediately obvious to everyone walking by. The building is older, like a lot of places in West Mambalam, but it serves us well. We have our desks crammed into the space and we’ve made it work for years. The commute is easy for most of us since the trains are right there. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the construction nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at screens. When we need a break, we just walk out toward the station to find some tea or a snack. It’s a busy atmosphere but we like the energy of it. There are always lots of files and sketches sitting on the tables. We don’t really bother with making the place look like a showroom. It’s a working office, pure and simple. We know the regular shopkeepers nearby. West Mambalam has a very specific feel, and we’re glad to be a small part of it. It is a bit crowded sometimes, but we get the job done.
