Our place is at 169 Sydenhams Road, right in the middle of the Park Town area. If you’ve ever been down this road, you know how hectic it gets with all the timber and hardware shops lined up. Composite Boards Pvt. Ltd. is just one of those spots where there's always a bit of sawdust in the air and the sound of trucks loading up. The building is old, like most things around here, and we’ve squeezed every bit of use out of the space we have. We deal with boards and wood products, so it’s heavy work and our clothes usually end up pretty messy by the end of the shift. We don’t have a front desk with a receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. Most of the staff have been here for years, so we know the inventory by heart. It’s a gritty part of town, but it’s where the trade happens. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and stacking. Sometimes the humidity in Chennai makes the wood act up, but we’ve learned how to handle it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get through the orders and make sure the people who buy from us get what they asked for. It's a straightforward business, run by people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.
