Periamet is one of those places that has its own character, especially with the history of the trade here. We’ve been situated on this street for quite a long time, and the building itself has that old-school feel to it. Our daily routine is mostly centered around the leather trade and the various administrative tasks that come with it. It’s not a quiet job; there is always someone coming in or out with questions or documents. We have desks cluttered with ledgers and correspondence because we still like to keep a close eye on everything manually. The street outside can get pretty cramped with vehicles and people, but that’s just life in this part of town. We don’t go for any of that modern corporate talk; we just deal with people directly and keep our word. Most of us have been working together for years, so we have a system that works without needing to talk about it too much. We take our tea breaks when the work allows and then get back to sorting through orders or talking to suppliers. It’s a very grounded way to run a business, and we prefer it that way. We don't need a lot of decoration or fancy signs to let people know what we do.
