Cmi Machines is down in the Ambattur Sidco Industrial Estate in Chennai. Our address can be a little confusing because we have an old number, 30A, and a new number, 33A, on Second Street. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking closely. Ambattur is a famous industrial area, and it’s always humming with the sound of work being done. We have a warehouse and office setup where we deal with all kinds of machinery. It gets incredibly hot here, especially in the afternoons, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the day. The building is a typical industrial unit—nothing fancy, just high ceilings and plenty of room for machines. We’ve been part of this estate for a long time, and we know most of the people on our street. It’s a community of makers and fixers. Our day-to-day is mostly about checking equipment and making sure the paperwork for the private limited side of things is in order. We aren't into big marketing pushes; we mostly just rely on people knowing where we are and what we do. There’s always some dust on the floor and the smell of oil in the air, but that’s just part of the job. We like it here in Ambattur despite the traffic and the heat. It’s where the real work happens, and we are happy to be a part of it.
