Sairam Wood Packers

We've been over here at 3rd Line Beach Road for a good while now. It's a busy spot near Clive Battery, and most days you’ll find us surrounded by stacks of timber and nails. Sairam Wood Packers is basically just us putting together wooden crates and pallets for people who need to move stuff around. It gets pretty noisy with the saws going, but that's just how the day goes. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the workshop floor where the actual work happens. Sometimes the sea breeze helps with the heat, but mostly it's just hard work getting the dimensions right so nothing breaks during transport. People come by with all sorts of requests, some small boxes, some huge frames for heavy machinery. We just take the measurements and start cutting. It’s a messy job with sawdust everywhere, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be anything big, just a local shop that knows how to handle wood. If you walk past No. 6, you'll probably see us loading a truck or sorting through a fresh delivery of planks. We just keep our heads down and stay busy. There’s always another pile of wood waiting to be turned into something useful. It's what we know how to do, and we've stayed in this same spot because it works for us and the people we help. We just build what's needed.
