City Starr Exports

We are located at Plot No. 9 Veerappa Nagar. It’s in the Alwarthirunagar area of Valasaravakkam. City Starr Exports is basically a small operation. We have this one plot where we do all our work. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s pretty quiet except for the occasional car or bike. We like it that way because we can focus on what we are doing. The office is just a converted space that we’ve made work for us over the years. We have a lot of samples lying around and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit. But we make it work. Valasaravakkam has changed a lot, but this little corner of Veerappa Nagar stays about the same. We spend our days coordinating with suppliers and making sure the export documents are all filled out correctly. It’s a lot of paperwork, which can be boring, but it’s necessary. We don’t have a big HR department or anything like that. It’s just a few of us. We share the work and help each other out when things get busy. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big order. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything. We just want to do good work and stay in business. That’s really all there is to City Starr Exports. It’s just a regular local business.
