The Best Baby

Our little shop is right here in City Center on Kasi Chetty Street. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets with people moving around all day. We’ve been at Shop No 7 for a good while now. It’s not a huge place, but we manage to fit quite a lot of baby things inside. Most days, it’s just us organizing the shelves and helping folks find what they need for their little ones. We have stacks of clothes and those tiny shoes that everyone seems to like. Sometimes the street outside is so loud we can barely hear the customers, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We keep the fans running because it gets pretty warm in the afternoons. It’s mostly regular people coming in, looking for something practical. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Just racks of stuff and boxes piled up near the back door. The address used to be Old No 11, so some people still get a bit confused when they’re looking for us for the first time. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the stock right. There’s always a delivery bike or two parked nearby, dropping off new packages. It’s a lot of work keeping everything neat, especially when kids are running around the aisles, but we do our best to keep it sorted before we head home.
