Chubby Plastics

Chubby Plastics is over at No. 18, 2Nd Street, Kamaraj Colony, in Kodambakkam. It’s a neighborhood where everyone kind of knows each other, and we’ve been part of it for a while. We deal with plastic products, mostly things people use in their daily lives or small businesses. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our stock and talk to customers. We spend a lot of time sorting through different types of plastic goods, making sure things aren't scuffed or damaged. People stop by frequently to see what’s new or to pick up an order they placed earlier. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in Kodambakkam. We don't use big words or try to sell people stuff they don’t need. If you need a container or a specific plastic item, we probably have it or can find it. The street is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a challenge sometimes, but we make it work. We’re just regular people trying to run a shop. Sometimes we make mistakes with the inventory, but we always fix them. It's about being practical and helping out the locals who come through our door. We don't have a big corporate office; it's just the desk in the corner of the warehouse. That's how we like it, keeps things simple and direct. Every day is a bit different but the work stays the same.
