Iha Exports

The office for Iha Exports is tucked away at No. 7/25 on 14th Cross Street, which is in the 2nd Extension of Chrompet. It’s a quiet enough area until the school run starts or when people are coming home from work. We spend a lot of time sitting at our desks looking at spreadsheets and talking to shipping agents. The room is usually a bit cluttered with samples and old files that we haven’t gotten around to shredding yet. Chrompet is a decent place to work from, though the traffic on the main road can be a nightmare if you leave at the wrong time. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us have been working together for a few years, so we know how everyone takes their coffee or when someone is likely to be grumpy. Our work is mainly about getting things from point A to point B without too many headaches. Sometimes there are delays at the docks that are out of our hands, and we just have to sit and wait it out. We don’t have a flashy website or big posters. It’s just a plain door on a regular street. On some afternoons, when it's really hot, the fans just move the warm air around, but we still get the work done. It’s not a glamorous job by any means, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid.
