Venki Exports & Services

Our place is at G-6 in the Friends Apartment building, No. 198/6 on Periyar Pathai. Choolaimedu is a crowded area, so finding a spot to park is always a bit of a challenge for people visiting Venki Exports & Services. We work out of the ground floor, which makes it easier to move stuff in and out without using the stairs too much. It’s a mix of an office and a small warehouse space. We handle various services along with the export side of things. The walls are a bit plain and the lighting is just standard tubes, but it’s enough to see what we’re doing. The apartment building has a lot of families, so there’s always the sound of kids playing or people talking in the hallways. We’ve got a couple of old desks that have seen better days, but they hold the computers just fine. Most of our day is spent typing out invoices or checking on service requests. It can get a little loud with the street noise from Periyar Pathai, but you get used to it after a week. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door goes to answer it. It’s a simple way to run things, and it keeps our overhead low. We just focus on the work at hand and try to stay organized through the day.
